今月は、家についてのお話です。Oyuki は新しい家を建てている最中で、Yuki は家を購入したタイミングだということで、ピックアップしてみました。今回は Oyuki の新しい家づくりについてのお話です。ぜひゆるりと聞いてください。
- なんとなくずっと賃貸で暮らすのもどうかなーと思っていた。
I wasn’t quite sure about renting an apartment forever. - 設計士さんの自宅が見学できることを知り、雰囲気がとても良さそうだったので訪れた。
When I heard that I could visit the architect’s house, I decided to go because the ambiance seemed nice from the photo. - 家も設計士さんもとても素敵だったので、すぐにお願いすることにした。
Not only the house but the personality of the architect was more than I expected. So I jumped to ask to design our house right away. - 家をデザイン（設計）してもらっているというより、暮らしや生き方をデザイン（設計）してもらっていると思っている。
It was more like creating our living lifestyle rather than just designing a house. - 本当に大切なものや時間はなにか、暮らしを考えなおすきっかけになっている。
It opens the door to rethink valuable things or precious moments in my life. - 設計士さんとは、好きなものや訪れたところ、読んだ本の話をしたり、時には一緒にボルダリングをしたりしていて、これからも一生家族ぐるみでお付き合いしていきたい。
We get along and hang out a lot. We talk about the things I like, the places I have traveled, the books… and going to a bouldering gym together sometimes. I want to keep a close relationship with them. - 仕事に対する姿勢や考え方も「はっ」とさせられることが多くて、影響を受けている。
In addition, I am getting influenced by his professional attitude towards works all the time. - 毎日の夫婦の会話で、その設計士さんの話がでないことはこの1年なかったんじゃないかな…
I think there was not a single day has passed without talking about him. - 本当に愉しいので、一生私たちの心に残る時間になっている。
We love this whole process, and it is already becoming a memorable experience.
